Access
Kea is an hour’s boat trip away from the port of Lavrion which is easily accessible from the port of Piraeus, from Athens International Airport, as well as from other areas of Athens either by car or public transport. There are boats from Lavrion to Kea every day. Kea is also connected via boat to the islands of Syros and Kythnos.

Getting to the port of Lavrion
By car/taxi
Via AttikiOdos or Posseidonos Avenue that leads to Athens – Sounio Avenue. The taxi fare from the airport to the port of Lavrion is around 45 euro.
By coach
From the port of Piraeus.
Leaving the port you will take the subway to Victoria station. From there it is a 100 meter walk to the coach station at PediontouAreos (Mavromataionstreet).
From the center of Athens (Omonoia or Larisis Station).
From Larisis Station you can take the subway to Omonoia. From there you will change lines and travel to Victoria Station. A hundred meters from there is the coach station anPediontouAreos (Mavromataion street).
Coaches leave every half an hour.

There are coaches for Lavrion via Markopoulo.
By railway
You can take the railway to Koropi (about an hours’ trip) and then take the coach for Lavrion via Markopoulo (which will be another 40 minutes).
